FOND
the Art of Gathering
At FOND, we believe some of the best moments happen around a shared table. Inspired by the “fond” that forms at the bottom of a pan, we create private dinners and small-format events where depth and connection take center stage. An intimate, experiential supper club.
Offerings
From casual and communal to fully plated, three ways to gather, depending on the night you're building.
-
Big bowls, shared plates, elbows on the table. Sunday supper, birthdays, or a Fourth of July cookout, this is food made for passing around and reaching across. Built for breaking bread with the people you love.
-
Composed course by course, served one dish at a time. Choose from a rotating set of seasonal menus. Built for anniversaries, milestones, and evenings that call for something more intimate.
-
Let's build it together! We'll talk cuisine, number of courses, and the dessert worth saving room for. Then design a menu that's entirely yours. Ideal for elopements, big celebrations, or any night you want to make unforgettable. Your occasion, exactly as you'd want it.
Our Story
It all started because people kept asking
Hey, there!
We're Casey and Tre, a couple of kids from Akron — a northeast Ohio city we called home, and one we always dreamed of leaving for the big city. In 2015, we made the move to Boston, where I started PT school and Tre joined a small startup. The city expanded our minds and exposed us to a world of food that Akron just didn't have (nothing against Applebee's!).
That's where the passion really took off. In Boston, Tre became obsessive; Kenji's Food Lab was the source of truth, and cooking turned into equal parts science experiment and nightly restaurant dinners. Over the years, learning through iteration, trial and error, and frequent requests from friends & family, we decided to kick-starte this venture.
FOND is a nod to depth. The browning at the bottom of a pan that sears the perfect crust onto a prime deckle cut. But it's also depth of connection — the bonds we build with the people in our life, and the belief that food is the greatest facilitator.
We're not a catering company. We're the friends who happen to cook for the people we love and now, we're opening that table to others.
Can't wait to meet you.
